This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at clippilot-ai2.vercel.app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. 1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the Service reliably and fairly for all users.

• IP Address: We temporarily process your IP address to enforce rate limiting (a fair-use limit on how many requests you can make per minute and per day) and to prevent abuse of our AI generation tools.
• Prompt Input: The text you type into the generator (e.g., a business niche or topic) is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your requested content (ideas, scripts, hooks, captions, or hashtags).
• Usage Data: We collect general usage information such as pages visited, buttons clicked, device type, and browser type, via analytics tools described below.
• Local History: Your generated content history is stored locally in your browser (not on our servers) so you can revisit past results on the same device.

We do not require account creation or collect names, phone numbers, or payment information at this time, as ClipPilot AI does not currently have a login or paid subscription system.

2. Analytics

We use the following analytics tools to understand how visitors use our Service and to improve it:

• Google Analytics (GA4): Collects anonymized usage statistics such as page views, session duration, device type, and general geographic region.
• Microsoft Clarity: Records anonymized session behavior such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation patterns (via heatmaps and session recordings) to help us identify usability issues. Clarity does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and any text you enter into the prompt box may be masked depending on Clarity's default privacy settings.

These tools may set their own cookies and use industry-standard techniques to distinguish unique visitors. You can learn more about how Google and Microsoft handle data in their respective privacy policies.

3. Cookies

ClipPilot AI uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for the following purposes:

• Enabling analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) to understand aggregate usage patterns.
• Storing your generation history locally in your browser for convenience.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect analytics tracking but will not prevent you from using the core AI generation features of the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

ClipPilot AI uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate content ideas, scripts, hooks, captions, and hashtags. This content is generated automatically and:

• May not always be accurate, original, or suitable for every use case.
• Should be reviewed and edited by you before publishing or using it commercially.
• Is provided "as is," without any guarantee of uniqueness, performance, or virality.

You are solely responsible for how you use any AI-generated content produced through the Service, including verifying that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate the Service, we rely on the following third-party providers, each of which processes limited data on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:

• OpenRouter: Processes your prompt input to generate AI content using free-tier language models.
• Vercel: Hosts our website and serverless functions.
• Upstash (Redis): Temporarily stores rate-limit counters associated with your IP address to prevent abuse.
• Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity: As described in Section 2 above.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we process, including using secure hosting infrastructure (Vercel) and encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic to and from the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

ClipPilot AI is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can take appropriate action.
